The author’s first contact with Delphi was Delphi 2. Though he previously met various incarnations of Turbo Pascal before that, he more commonly used C/C++ or VB in the last century.
You may know him from GLScene, an OpenGL project which he doesn’t have much time for lately, but hopes to resume working on someday.
Currently his main Open-Source project is DWScript, a powerful Object-Pascal scripting engine for Delphi. The engine is interestingly ending up spouting JavaScript so you can code browser client-side application in Object Pascal and HTML5, as well as server-side code with node.js or micro-controller with Espruino.
He also maintains several small free Delphi Tools, which gave the original name for this website.
